Research

I wrote my PhD dissertation on non parametric estimation of a mixing distribution under a general mixture model (thesis link). This has exposed me to problems in multiple areas like directional data, spatial statistics, small area estimation and large scale multiple testing.Recently I have started working on anytime inference based on e-values and spatio-temporal data. My interests are hence spread over methodological work in non parametric Bayesian philosophy and spatio-temporal data. Please refer to my CV for recent publications.

Teaching

I have had the wonderful opportunity to teach in my PhD as well as postdoctoral time. The courses I have taught are -STAT 4710 (2024) - Introduction to Mathematical Statistics (University of Missouri)
ST 311 (2018 - 2021) - Introduction to Statistics (North Carolina State University)

Consulting / Industry

Research Assistant (2021) - Data Science Academy, North Carolina State University
A novel experience in providing statistical consultancy to scholars from other scientific disciplines on campus.
Looking to collaborate on more involved projects requiring statistical expertise.
Senior Manager, Biostatistics (2022-2023) - Bristol Myers Squibb
An internship and a position as a protocol statistician on oncology clinical trials exposed me to various aspects of biostatistics.
